THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE RENTING A JET SKI:
Make sure you are old enough: In Florida, the minimum age to rent a jet ski is 18 years old. So, make sure you are at least 18 years old before you consider renting one.
For those who do not have a boater’s license you are required to take a temporary boater’s license. On our menu page click the boating license and it will take you to a website where you can take the test. Bring a copy of the boater’s license on the day of the jet ski rental.
Have a valid ID: You will need a valid driver's license or government-issued ID to rent a jet ski. Make sure to bring it with you when you go to rent a jet ski.
Wear appropriate clothing: You will get wet when riding a jet ski, so wear appropriate clothing such as a swimsuit, a rash guard, or clothing that dries quickly. Don't forget to bring a towel and a change of clothes.
Arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment and attend a safety briefing: Before renting a jet ski, the rental company will provide you with a safety briefing. Pay attention to the briefing and ask any questions you may have. The briefing will cover topics such as how to operate the jet ski, what to do in case of an emergency, and the rules and regulations of operating a jet ski in Florida.
Follow the rules: Jet skis in Florida are subject to certain rules and regulations. Follow these rules to avoid getting into trouble with law enforcement. Some of these rules include staying a certain distance away from other boats, not exceeding the speed limit, and not operating the jet ski while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

All Operators born January 1st, 1988 or later MUST complete the ONLINE Boaters License PRIOR to arrival. Florida State Law requires all operators must pass an approved boaters safety course. TEST IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR 90 days.
1. Must be age 18+ to rent.
2. Those age 14+ are permitted to be on a jet ski. The parent or guardian is required to be on the machine and they will be required to sign a consent form.
3. Valid photo ID and a temporary boating license is required to rent.
4. Up to 2 people per jet ski.
5. Max weight is 400 lbs. (The more weight you put on jet ski, the harder to maneuver.)
6. Physical requirements: Must be able to lift oneself out of water in the event you fall off.
